Position Summary Design, develop, troubleshoot, maintain, and update client/server software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies and DBMS. Participate in many phases of the software development life cycle: coding, debugging, testing, implementation and maintenance. Assignments typically require current knowledge of hardware, software, systems analysis techniques, and/or specialized knowledge in administrative functions or disciplines. The position requires excellent organizational and analytical skills. This position is assigned to a team, taking regular assignments from the Lead Developer. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain client/server database driven web applications. 2. Work both alone and with project teams to analyze user needs and develop comprehensive project plans. 3. Participate in design and code review with other developers and management. 4. Create end-user documentation and occasionally, end-user training. 5. Provide support to applications including application monitoring, problem troubleshooting and resolution, performance analysis and tuning to ensure maximum integrity. 6. Perform project management duties for smaller software development projects. 7. Maintain current knowledge of software development tools and strategies as they are released. Minimal Position Requirements: 1.Demonstrated knowledge in Microsoft .NET technologies. 2.Demonstrated knowledge in web development including DHTML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc… 3.Demonstrated knowledge in Structured Query Language. 4.Background in client/server software development. 5.Strong interpersonal skills and strong communications skills. 6.Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines. 7.Knowledge of other legacy technologies (i.e. ASP) is a plus. 8.Knowledge of graphic design software (i.e. Photoshop) is a plus.
